Just Cause 2 Trailer
The US is concerned about the Southeast Asian island state of Panau, as America-friendly President Panaus has been assassinated and the island’s foreign policy has changed significantly under new ruler Pandak Panay. Therefore, the American intelligence agency has summoned an agent, Tom Sheldon, to the island to observe the conditions on the island.
The core element of Just Cause 2 is the single player campaign. In this the player tries to destabilize the government of the island state Panau by all means. This happens largely in free play by attacking the distributed over the whole island government ownership. These include barracks, propaganda vehicles, statues of the president, water towers or power plants.
In free game, the player has no fixed targets, but he can explore the game world on their own. There are many possibilities open to him. The focus is on the sabotage of government institutions dar. Furthermore, the player can support local rebel organizations. Apart from the fight against the government, the player can race, both on land, sea and at sea. For this the player receives money, with which he can acquire equipment. The races can be repeated as often as you like.
On Panau, the player can come into contact with three rebel groups. At the beginning of the game, these groups each have a small base. The player contacts the three groups in turn, helping them to conquer the fortresses of the Panamanian army. Each fortress controlled by the rebels serves the player from then on as a base on which he receives weapons and vehicles. In addition, the rebels regularly send patrols that attack government forces near the base. Furthermore, they regularly offer side missions to the player.
The progress of the player in the campaign is symbolized by so-called Chaos Points . The player collects these points by destroying government property or completing missions for the rebel factions. This increases concern among the population and the military, which weakens the president. Collecting Chaos Points will unlock new weapons, vehicles, and missions. Even after completing the campaign and unlocking all black market objects, chaos is still meaningful as it requires the destruction of all government property on the island to complete the game 100%.
The player has a variety of vehicles available. All models are fictional models. The vehicles included in the game include cars, trucks, motorcycles, planes, helicopters, and boats. The player can buy some selection of these through his contact with the agency.
